Flagship of Champagne Veuve Fourny,
One of the musts in Champagne
In Champagne, three grape varieties are used for the preparation of wines, in order to give a free rein to the imagination of the blenders :
- The Pinot Noir gives aromas of red fruit and brings body and power.
- Le Pinot Meunier, also a black grape, gives round, supple and fruity wines, which age more quickly with time.
These two “black” grape varieties represent 72% of the vine-growing area.
And ... the Chardonnay...
A fine and elegant grape, it gives the young wines notes of white flowers and citrus fruit.
Evolving more slowly, these wines have a good ageing potential. They are noted for their minerality and freshness.
Our Blanc de Blancs Vertus Premier Cru is made solely from these fabulous grapes.
A white juice from white grapes (hence the name) our Blanc de blancs will seduce you with its complexity and distinction.
Perfect for the aperitif, it is the ideal wine to start off the evening...
his cuvée highlights all the know-how of Veuve Fourny House in its blend of various plots from different harvests. Only pure Chardonnay Vertus Premier Cru is used for this great cuvée. Liveliness and purity, finesse and elegance. |
